Creative Ideas?

One student could write a short story prompt and each person could continue the story. The catch is that we have to use at least five vocabulary words from that week. I know we don't have vocabulary every week, so we can work on that. Maybe something like this would work? Or...we could discuss a piece of art or a modernist short story. Probably a modernist story that we are not reading in class would be best. Again, maybe we could use vocabulary words in our blogging?

    I like this idea. Maybe we could write a story using all of the vocab words for that week. Everyone would have a different story. It would be fun to see how everyone used the words.

    Thanks, but it was actually my sister's idea. I think it would help us to use our vocabulary words and bring them into our everyday vocabularies.
